Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Bite, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

Bite is an AI-powered food tracking application. It allows users to log meals via photo, voice, or text; receive nutrition estimates sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database; and get feedback from an AI coach.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create a Bite account. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Not Medical Advice

Bite provides nutrition estimates and general wellness information for informational purposes only. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, dietary advice, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.

Nutrition data is sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database and AI estimates. Accuracy varies by food type, preparation method, and photo quality. Do not rely on Bite for medical decisions, management of health conditions, or clinical dietary needs.

AI-Generated Content

Bite uses AI to identify foods, estimate portions, and generate coach responses. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any food identification, portion estimate, macro calculation, or coach recommendation.

You are responsible for verifying nutrition information that is important to your health.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Bite, including meal logs and photos. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the app's features, including sending photos to our AI provider for analysis.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your login credentials.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Bite for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the app
• Submit content that is harmful, misleading, or violates any third-party rights
• Abuse automated logging in ways that degrade service for other users

Disclaimer of Warranties

Bite is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate. Nutrition estimates are approximations and should not be used as the sole basis for dietary decisions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PPV Enterprise LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of Bite. Our total liability for any claim related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Bite at any time and delete your account from Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
